SARA HARRISON

I’m Sara Harrison, the designer behind Sara Harrison Interiors. Since I was young, I had a dream to become an interior designer, but fate has its own way of intervening. As a proud Army Spouse, I lived all over the country and abroad, moving every 3 years or less. Living in 8 homes over 13 years and I like to think I have made each home beautiful within our means. I am able to take those influences from traveling and curate a beautiful space with eclectic vibes.

With every project, I aim to create inviting spaces that defines your style and how you want to live in that space. Some projects require extensive renovation and countless decisions, hiring a designer to counsel you in that process will save you weeks if not months of second-guessing your decisions. It's like having a big sister in the design process! Not every project needs major renovations, sometimes it just needs a little designer imagination to bring the magic and elevate your space.

I have a superpower pulling things together and when sourcing furnishings or accents, pieces jump out at me. I trust my instincts, as the process progresses, my clients learn that when I get goosebumps, we are on the right path!

I can't wait to create a vibe with you!

FAQs

  • All projects, big or small, start with a one-on-one consultation in person or virtual. Consultations are $250 for up to 90 minutes.

  • All consultations are geared to listen to the client’s design needs, aesthetic and how the client would like to see the space elevated. This includes function of the space and the customization of their needs. This is also a great time to get to know each other!

  • You will receive a design quote consisting of my design fee which is a retainer paid upfront based on the number of hours I estimate your project will take to complete. At this time both parties will sign a business contract.

  • Then the fun begins! Sara will start working on your design concepts and renderings. This may take several weeks as good design takes time. Collecting samples and options that will one day get installed into your home isn’t something we want to rush.

  • This is unique to every client and every job is different. Keep in mind with the current supply chain issues somethings make take longer to ship than others. I usually tell my clients who need 3 or more rooms, it will be a good part of a year from consult to completion.

  • No, each job is customized for the client. But once the design phase is complete, designer hourly rate does decrease.

  • You bet! The client is expected to cover travel expenses.

  • This is unique to each client depending on the needs of the space. Most room makeovers start with a budget around $10,000 and increase with your needs, selections and taste.
